If you exit the game, you loose everything

This is NOT like the old school Gold Miner PC game. The only way this game saves your last level is if you pause it at the begining of a new level. But then you cant do ANYTHING else on your phone or iTouch because once you exit the game, you loose everything and start all over again. That is NOT how the original game worked. Not happy that I had to dole out a buck to get rid of the stupid ads either. Not sure if I want to keep this game, its not anywhere near as fun as the original which let the miner move around on the tracks in higher levels. This game needs a LOT of work to get it anywhere near the coolness level of the original.
